For more than five years now, Karine A. has been developing a way of thinking that is liking a bomb placed cooly under the edifice of image knowledge. Rejecting the interpretative structures laid down by a structuralism and semiology that have turned doctrinaire since the days she herself helped establish their use, he sets out to capture as faithfully as possible the historical and autobiographical realities attendant on any encounter with a sound, a text or a image. Free in the choice of his objetcs, her critical approch deliberately distanced from traditionnal methodologies, she has built up a body of apparently eclectic images.
